The Xtreme Ice Series takes reliability to a new level. We've reinforced key component and refined manufacturing processes to ensure years of reliable and durable service. The thickness of our evaporator plating has been increased by more than 200%.
Our exclusive ice harvest control system uses a special pressure transducer that has no moving parts and doesn't contact the water. The new control was put through an extensive durability test that simulated 10 years of ice making (300,000 cycles) without production drift of failure!

In addition, the Xtreme Series utilizes a special nickel-plated copper evaporator plate that provides 28 times the thermal conductivity of a standard stainless steel plate. As substantiated by ARI's published data, the Xtreme Series typically provides a lower kilowatt-hour consumption and water usage rate per 100 pounds of ice produced.
